The Yellowstone Nature Connection operates from an historic, log Ranger Station immediately adjacent to the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park, in West Yellowstone, Montana.
Staffed by interpretive rangers and educators, we offer a unique educational experience for visitors of all ages.
Our primary focus is on youth, ages five and up. We use the Junior Smokejumper program to spark an interest in the role of fire in the Greater Yellowstone ecosystem and an appreciation for the forest.
Our other program is the Naturalist program for families. This program uses our location to become more aware of nature and forest ecosystems. The power of quiet observation while learning and being outdoors allows naturalists the understanding of the world around them.
New programs for 2015 - Storytime for children and an adult nature program.
