This web cam is mounted on the trailhead for the Rendezvous Ski Trails located at the southwestern edge of the city of West Yellowstone, Montana. The world-renowned Rendezvous Trail System offers a 40-kilometer cross-country ski trail in the winter or bike and jogging/hiking trail in the warm season.

This web cam is located on a tree 60 yards in front of the Temporary Visitor Center at Old Faithful in Yellowstone National Park. At times, you will see other geysers erupt visible behind Old Faithful Geyser including: Grand, Giant, Lion, Beehive, Anemone, Plume, Aurum and Giantess geysers. The West gate to Yellowstone National Park is scheduled to open on Monday, December 15th, 2008. Make plans to enjoy the wonderful cross-country ski trails around Old Faithful and other geyser basin areas.
